Here you’ll find various Alchemical workings I’ve done over the years. From the kitchen, to the herb garden, to foraging in the woods by my home, you’ll find concotions of all kinds! I started posting these on this site in 2025.

Not-safe-for-the-school-bake-sale brownies. Recipe here: https://www.yangsnourishingkitchen.com/classic-weed-brownies/

The ones on the left were made with unbleached flour, the ones on the right were made with sorghum flour. I didn’t add quite enough moisture to the flour batch, so when I did the sorghum batch I added extra. Turned out better! They’re topped with pecans.
The cannabutter is homemade, made from the left over cuttings after we harvested from the garden. I forgot to write down how much cuttings I used, but I used a pound of butter. There’s still quite a bit left over after 2 batches of brownies!
While I was making them it kind of slipped my mind that I was making weed brownies, so I was snacking on the batter the whole time, as any good baker would. By the time I was done baking, I couldn’t peel myself off the couch. Mission accomplished!

A batch of apple cider vinegar made from the trees in my yard

Recipe:
Get yourself a 2 gallon glass jar/carboy. I filled it halfway with apples, then used a hand blender to grind them up. You can do this part however you like, just make sure the apples fill the jar halfway before you mash em up! Next, fill the jar right to the top with filtered water (you want it as clean as possible). Add two cups of sugar, one cup her gallon. I used raw cane sugar. Give it a good stir, then top it off with a coffee filter; you don’t want the gases that will be produced to build up inside! I’ll let you know how long it took this batch to finish, stay tuned.
